Question 8 features the reading passage “A Cinema Ticket from Twenty Years Ago” by Mu Ling, where the author discovers an old cinema ticket hidden inside a geography book after returning to her former school as a teacher. Question 9 presents volunteering opportunities across Africa, Europe, Asia, and America involving elderly care, hospitality work, teaching children, shopping assistance, Chinese cooking, and traditional Chinese painting.

Section B contains the official translation task about participating in an exchange activity in Shanghai and attending music lessons with Chinese students. Students translate the Chinese passage into accurate English using correct tense and meaning.
